For the second year, the Tufts Medical Center NICU participated in a Read-A-Thon event through Babies With Books. Over 600 books were donated by the Warrior Family Books For NICU community and special outfits to celebrate the milestone were given to these bookworms by Project Sweet Peas. Family members, doctors, nurses, therapists, and volunteer cuddlers log their reading sessions during the 10-day event for friendly competition amongst nearly 300 NICU’s nationwide. The goal of the Read a Thon is to bring awareness to the lifelong benefits of reading to all babies. Huge thanks to our staff and generous partners for making this year's Read-A-Thon another great success! #TuftsMedicine #NICU #readathon
