When the world is more accessible... we all win! ✨ Today we celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (#GAAD) with a heartfelt reminder of the importance of accessibility in our lives. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about access and inclusion for the 1 billion people with disabilities worldwide. Eclipse Safety 101 🎓️ Viewing Tips for All Eyes With the solar eclipse on April 8, let's recap some important notes on keeping our eyes safe! 1️⃣ Avoid Ordinary Sunglasses Regular sunglasses (yes, even our incredible, awesome, cool, and stylin' sunglasses) are not safe for looking at the sun directly as they do not offer quite enough eye protection, specifically during an eclipse. 2️⃣ Use ISO-Certified Eclipse Glasses For direct viewing, always use eclipse glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard, ensuring they are not scratched or damaged. 3️⃣ Listen to Live Audio Descriptions For those with low vision, listen to live audio descriptions of the eclipse available through various astronomy websites and apps.
