We’ve reached week 3 of the cohort and our students are progressing more and more! Meet Anthony Mora, a Heroes Make America Student who can use his military background of different components and apply his skills to his time here at TX FAST!

Our students have progressed to the first part of hands-on lessons of the course. Today, they got to start focusing on working in pairs to accomplish proper shaft and pulley alignment. They’re making amazing progress!

Happy Saturday! Meet this past weeks class leader, Nathanael! He is eager to learn more about the manufacturing world and use his knowledge to build a career!

On Wednesday, July 17, our TX FAST class had the chance to go on a tour with the new cohort. It was our first time at Mission Solar, where we were captivated by the solar panel production process! Getting to forge connections with our students is our favorite part!

Monday, July 15, we had the opportunity to host ATEAMS, a collective of teachers from different schools in the area, and provide them with the information with a lesson from the TX FAST curriculum. We enjoy discussing and teaching education while collaborating with fellow passionate educators!

Last week we started our cohort and with that comes our first class leader of the week! Roman Sanchez is ready to start his time at TX FAST and is eager for his ability to showcase his knowledge in the maintenance training world!

This past Monday marked the beginning of our 3rd cohort of the year and we are excited to have a new group of students eager to learn and enter the maintenance training world!
