Although his primary focus is managing clean and soiled linens, Bryan consistently goes above and beyond for his team. “He sets a great example of showing up every day and staying focused,” says his supervisor, Nicole Bodrick. We are excited to celebrate Ruthie Wilson as our Ambassador of the Month! As an emergency services coordinator in Smithfield, Ruthie is dedicated to providing the best service possible. Our CEO, Tom Williams, praises her ability to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. “During daily rounds, she always looks for ways to satisfy patients and to ensure their safety,” he says. Ruthie’s journey in health care includes two years as a nurse at Betsy Johnson in Dunn and seven years on the trauma floor at WakeMed Raleigh. When an opportunity to work closer to home became available, she did not hesitate to take the role. “I like the fast pace of the emergency department and that every day is different,” she says. Ruthie is dedicated to teaching and supporting her fellow nurses, ensuring they feel confident and equipped for their roles. She is also actively involved in several committees, recently helping secure new bed alarms for stretchers. And she always sharing positivity through the department’s weekly huddle.
