We are so proud of the work our very own Dr. Breanne Hartley, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA is doing to further learning, innovation and change within the dynamic #autism care landscape.
My first time at the American Academy of Pediatrics National conference. I spent the weekend in Orlando 🌴 helping the The Council of Autism Service Providers disseminate information about #autism care. Met so many passionate #pediatricians who acknowledged that they’re seeing more and more patients with autism, and patients in need of diagnostic evaluations. 1 in 36 children are diagnosed with autism. This translates to pediatricians seeing autistic patients in their offices at least once per week, sometimes at least once per day. 😲 I learned: 👍 #BCBAs need to bring positive awareness to healthcare professionals about #ABA and autism care. 👍 Pediatricians have SO much on their plates, and they are SO well intentioned. BCBAs - Talk to them about your shared patients, they want to hear. 👍 There’s a growing interest in making pediatric visits more conducive to patients with disabilities. 👍 The proportion of children with special healthcare needs continues to grow. Integrated, whole-child care is necessary. UNIFI Autism Care

🌟 Exciting things are happening at UNIFI Autism Care! Our very own Stephanie Dille-Huggins, Director of Clinical Integration, and Erica Outlaw, MA, BCBA, LBA, Executive VP of Clinical Operations, recently visited Warren High School’s Walker Career Center to introduce students to UNIFI and share insights about autism, ABA and career opportunities—specifically the #RBT role! 🧠 Students on the healthcare track got an inside look at how they can make a difference in children’s lives while building a clinical career. With our offerings like paid training and support, they were thrilled about the possibilities ahead! 💼 We look forward to more opportunities that drive awareness and promote UNIFI's mission in the communities we serve and beyond. #CareerOpportunities #ABACareers #RBT #autism #autismcare #clinicalcareers #behavioralhealth
