Thanks for joining us, Sentry Commercial! 🌇🏗️
🌟 Community in Action 🌟 Mark Duclos, SIOR, President of Sentry Commercial and Founding Member of the Building Foundations Committee, recently joined United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and Town of Manchester, CT on WTIC’s Community Connections to spotlight an urgent issue — homelessness in the 860 region. This meaningful discussion highlighted: ✅ The growing challenges facing individuals and families in securing stable housing ✅ The power of cross-sector partnerships in building lasting solutions ✅ The role of the commercial real estate and building industries in driving positive change Since its inception, the Building Foundations Breakfast has raised over $2 million to directly support emergency shelter services, rapid response rental assistance, and innovative housing solutions. This year, the 5th annual event takes place on April 23rd at the Connecticut Convention Center. At Sentry Commercial, we are proud to stand alongside our industry peers and partners to create lasting, positive impact for our community. 👉 Learn more about the Building Foundations Breakfast and how you can get involved at https://lnkd.in/eMHY-w38 #BuildingFoundations #CRELeadership #CommunityImpact #SentryCommercialCares #UnitedWay #HomelessnessAwareness

We’re thrilled to welcome Andrea Elliott and Dasani Coates as our keynote speakers at the 2025 Power of the Purse on June 12, 2025! Their journey began in 2012 when Elliott set out to report on childhood poverty for The New York Times. That’s when she met Dasani, an 11-year-old living in a Brooklyn shelter. What started as a five-part series became nearly a decade of reporting, culminating in the Pulitzer Prize-winning book Invisible Child: Poverty, Survival and Hope in an American City. Their story sheds light on the realities of poverty, homelessness, and resilience. Childhood experiences shape us all, and it's time to recognize the "invisible childhoods" within. Secure your spot today▶️ https://lnkd.in/eaW_pBw8 Early bird pricing ends on April 1! 🐦 #UnitedtoEndPoverty #InvisibleChild #WomenUnitedWednesday #InternationalWomensMonth
