When United Way of the Midlands received an unprecedented $10 million gift from Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, we asked ourselves the same question. In a few short years, we’ve already seen her incredible generosity come to life in tangible ways here in our community, including our $4 million investment into our WellPartners program to provide free vision and dental care to those in need, and $600,000 into the Village at Winnsboro, where 16 Fairfield County teachers now call home at an affordable monthly price.  And now we’re asking YOU to help us turn this once-in-a-generation gift into a once-in-a-generation investment back into our community.  Let's find out what WE can do together with $20 million. Campaign season 2024-2025 is here, and we're so excited to welcome our newest board members to the team to assist us in creating generational change in our community! ⭐ Today they took a tour of United Way's WellPartners Dental and Eye Clinics, which offer free preventative and restorative care to uninsured and underinsured children and adults in the Midlands. Progress at The Village, the new teacher housing development in Fairfield County 🎥 United Way of the Midlands has invested $600,000 in the FAIRFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT EDUCATION FOUNDATION for The Village to create affordable 3-bedroom homes for educators.
