“Our goal as USB directors is to find benefit in the industry as a whole, not just as a farmer.” Kyle Durham, Missouri farmer-director, joined Dr. Manjit Misra and Dr. George Smith for the "Bridging the Gap: Ag Technology and Research" panel last week at the Ag Media Summit. Kyle shared how technology and research address farming challenges, improve profitability, and strengthen food security, while highlighting how USB's initiatives and checkoff investments are supporting U.S. soybean farmers.

Great news for the Pacific Northwest! The Port of Grays Harbor Terminal 4 Expansion and Redevelopment Project is getting a substantial $400,000 upgrade to support research, analysis and design work for the terminal in Aberdeen, WA. Illinois farmer-leader Gary Berg shared, “With renewable fuels getting bigger and bigger, they’re crushing more soybeans here in the states.
