The University Athletic Association, Inc. (UAA) is the athletic department for the University of Florida (UF). For a listing of employment opportunities with the UAA - including Internships/Graduate Assistantships – please go to www.FloridaGators.com/Employment The UAA is a not-for-profit entity organized in 1929 for the purpose of conducting various intercollegiate athletic programs for and on behalf of the UF. The UAA operates for the service and convenience of UF and is a direct support organization and component unit (for accounting purposes only) of UF. The UAA is a self-supporting entity. The UAA's expenses are funded through event ticket sales, booster contributions and Southeastern Conference revenues. The UAA receives no direct state funds. Meet the nicest Olympian in Paris👀🌟 Context: A couple of days ago, I created and posted a video on my socials that showcased the gear that volunteers receive for helping with Team USA during the Olympics. I recived a lot of mixed reviews on my video, some saying things like “underwhelming” or “cool but sad”🧐 👀This is where three-time world champion and Toyoko Silver medalist in the hurdles, Grant Holloway steps in. Grant saw my video and decided to do something about it. He commented on my video (comment in picture below); then the next day after his comment, we met up and Grant smiled as he handed me one of his backpacks packed with gear!🤯 I was grinning ear to ear for the rest of the day and am extremely appreciative for Grant’s act of kindness. Thank you Grant for taking time to show with your actions, appreciation to others.🙌
