The loss of a loved one is a pain that cannot be described through words. To those who lost a loved one to the service of our nation, we are holding you in our hearts.

  • Today, on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who were prisoners of war and those who remain missing in action. Established in 1979, this day serves as a solemn reminder of their sacrifice and courage. Throughout U.S. history, over 140,000 American service members have been prisoners of war, enduring unimaginable hardships. As of today, more than 81,000 service members are still missing in action, leaving families and comrades in uncertainty and longing. Let us never forget their sacrifices and continue our commitment to bringing our heroes home. We honor their bravery, resilience, and the enduring hope of their loved ones. - #neverforget #sacrifices #heroes

  • Not to have an adequate air force in the present state of the world is to compromise the foundations of national freedom and independence. - Winston Churchill Today, we celebrate the 77th anniversary of the United States Air Force! Established on September 18, 1947, the Air Force has a proud history of defending our nation from the skies. Over the years, millions of dedicated men and women have served in its ranks, showcasing unparalleled bravery, innovation, and commitment. From its early days in the Army Air Corps to becoming a separate branch of the military, the Air Force has been at the forefront of technological advancements and global missions. It has played a crucial role in securing freedom and ensuring peace across the world. As we honor this special day, we extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have served and continue to serve in the U.S. Air Force. • “Never forget those that were killed, never let rest those that killed them.” - MAJ Zembiec, UCMC, RIP On this day in 2001, the United States endured the highest number of civilian casualties in a single day in its history, marking a turning point that set us on a path of war and transformation. The impact of that fateful day continues to resonate, with the scars of battle ever present in our society. Today, we honor the memory of those lost in the 9/11 attacks. We remember the brave service members who gave their lives in the pursuit of justice. We pay tribute to the Gold Star families and honor their profound sacrifice. Let us never forget, let us never forgive. - #911 #neverforget

  • Big thank you to Team Red, White & Blue and Veterans Future Foundation (VFF) for helping to bring together an incredible group of veterans through UHP to better understand the foundations of Health & Performance.

  • Transitioning from military life isn’t just about finding a job – it’s about rediscovering purpose. That’s where the University of Health & Performance steps in. It helps veterans take their next step, giving them the tools to build careers that matter while reconnecting with that same sense of purpose they had in service. It’s not just a path forward – it’s a whole new mission.

It's hard to have spent so long in Afghanistan throughout OEF and see it all washed away with an expedited exit and an attack of this level that went unanswered and unpunished. As the United States pulled out, scores of my friends and team mates who served in theater felt an immense sense of loss. We were chalking up our time spent in combat as nothing more than a political science experiment that was pissed away due to campaign promises. The Abby Gate bombing is an immense tragedy and loss of American life. The worse thing we can do here is to forget their names and not learn from the mistakes we've made. War is not to be taken lightly and should not be for political gain. My only hope is our politicians will learn from what I consider one of the greatest losses in our nation's history. The loss of these Americans could have been avoided and these service members could still be alive today. The policy makers, politicians and commanders need to be held accountable for this.

Today marks three years since we lost the 13 U.S. service members who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Abbey Gate bombing in Afghanistan. Their bravery and commitment to our nation and mission will never be forgotten. We honor their memory and stand in solidarity with their families, friends, and fellow service members who continue to bear the weight of this tragedy. Remember their names - Marine Corps Staff Sgt.
