    About 175 people gathered for an evening of empowerment and inspiration from stroke survivors and their families. WAVE's Dawne Gee was the guest speaker for the second annual Stroke Survivor Celebration by UofL Health – Brain and Spine Institute and UofL Health – Frazier Rehabilitation Institute. Those gathered were treated to a performance by stroke survivor Melba Harris of her original song, “Stronger.”

    Fun Fact Friday: Rachel Tindall, Practice Manager, UofL Health – UofL Physicians • Rachel enjoys drag racing and spending time with her family. • She has two Maltipoos named after items in the car industry: Holley Hobbie (a carburetor and her favorite doll) and Cragar (a set of wheels). • Rachel plans her vacations around her favorite meal, fettuccine from Dat Cajun Place in Panama City Beach, because it's only served on Tuesdays.
