It's time for New York State to double down on its clean energy goals, and do the little things to make it so much easier for New Yorkers to put solar on their roofs and home batteries in their garage: "Interconnection reform to lower the cost of connecting new solar and energy storage projects to the electric system; streamlining permitting for rooftop and community-scale projects; and targeted incentives for solar projects that minimize land use impacts and reduce electric bills for low-income New Yorkers."
