About us
TRADOC recruits, trains, and educates Soldiers, develops leaders, supports training in units, develops doctrine, establishes standards, and builds the U.S. Army by developing and integrating operational and functional concepts and organizational designs for the fielded force. TRADOC is a learning organization that evolves and adapts. When we say "Victory Starts Here," it means something. It's more than a hashtag. It's the training, maintaining, teamwork, morale and discipline we put in place to develop young people into Army professionals. TRADOC is about people and preparing them to be ready to win on any battlefield. Nobody in the world develops people or builds Soldiers for Life as well as TRADOC.

#SafetyFirstFriday The theme for Fire Prevention Week is “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!” According to the NFPA, smoke alarms reduce the risk of dying in a home fire by more than 50%. Roughly 3 out of 5 fire deaths happen in homes with either no smoke alarms or no working smoke alarms. Smoke alarms serve as the first line of defense in a home fire, but they need to be working to protect you. The NFPA’s key calls to action are INSTALL, TEST, and REPLACE. To learn more about smoke alarm safety tips and guidelines, go to www.fpw.org

Pam Deprey, the niece of PFC Leona Seyfert, visited the U.S. Army Women's Museum recently as she donated her aunt's archives, which will be available soon through the museum's digital collections at https://lnkd.in/eReiDjpj! Seyfert was one of the 18 MIA WACs from WWII whose story was told on the Expedition Unknown episode which the museum was featured on back in July. Deprey shared that her mother, Maxine Seyfert, was Leona's next of kin, receiving news of her sister's status while serving in the Cadet Nurse Corps herself. #ArmyHistory #ArmyMuseums US Army
