#DYK the Army has 3-D printed barracks? Last month, at Fort Bliss, Texas, the Army opened a 3,800-square-foot building housing up to 72 soldiers while they train for missions. This project used robotic construction-scale technology and advanced materials to deliver military barracks faster than compared to traditional methods. Using this cutting-edge technology saves labor costs, reduces planning time, and increases the speed of constructing future facilities, supporting our people, who matter the most.
