The Center for Brain and Behavior Research’s (CBBRe) research symposium took place from August 12-13 in the University of South Dakota (USD) in the Muenster University Center (MUC) ballroom. Casey Wall, a doctoral student in the Data Science & Engineering program within USD Computer Science Department and a research scientist at the USD Applied Artificial Intelligence Research Lab (𝟚ᗩ𝕀), delivered a talk focused on AI's role in augmenting human morality and the current practices in the field of #ExplainableAI (XAI). This topic is closely related to his co-authored book, "AI, Ethical Issues, and Explainability—Applied Biometrics" (URL: https://lnkd.in/d_DKiHP5). Over the two-day period, a wide variety of talks were given.
