The UES team in Georgia recently hosted a contractor luncheon to show appreciation for their continued partnership in Georgia Power’s home energy efficiency programs. Team members shared program updates and highlighted the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) in Georgia. Several contractors were recognized for their achievements in saving customers energy through these programs in 2024. Grateful for the contractors' support, we look forward to building on this success in 2025. #EnergyEfficiency #ContractorAppreciation #GeorgiaPower

UES Director of Operations and Delivery, James Cowan is attending and speaking at the Georgia Manufactured Housing Association’s Convention and Business Meeting beginning today, September 15. UES has collaborated with Georgia Power Company on an ongoing initiative for residents of manufactured homes to receive energy efficiency improvements, designed to reduce energy usage and decrease energy bills. Members of the UES team, including Community Outreach Coordinator Flavio Romero, visit manufactured homes communities across the state to educate residents about the program, install energy-saving products, and assist in scheduling future installations. Flavio is pictured here at a community visit in Athens earlier this summer explaining the energy-saving benefits of LED light bulbs and presenting the free energy improvements available to eligible customers. For a limited time, customers can also earn rewards for improving their home’s energy efficiency as part of an incentive program. Learn more about this program at georgiapower.com/eeprefab.

UES is proud to celebrate Juneteenth, a significant milestone in African American history that represents equality, freedom and liberation. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where every team member feels valued and respected because of their differences. In celebration of this holiday, team members in Chicago attended the White Sox game while those in Atlanta cheered on their home team, the Braves on June 18. To commemorate Juneteenth, UES offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19. #juneteenth #diversityandinclusion #juneteenthcelebration

Team members from the UES Atlanta office recently embarked on an escape room adventure where they divided into two groups and used everyone’s unique strengths and skills to solve a variety of puzzles. While only one of the two groups beat the challenge and escaped, it was a fun opportunity to collaborate and connect as a team. @BigEscapeRooms #teambuilding
