On May 28, the Mission Possible venture program supported by u.ventures held its first Demo Day, where ambitious entrepreneurs who have been building and growing their startups for the past 6 months pitched their projects to investors and tech industry experts. Andrew Sorohan - Venture Director of uventures and Anton Waschuk - Innovation, Education and Entrepreneurship Director of the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund also spoke at the event.     👏 Became more expensive than the largest developers in the US. The NewHomesMate startup According to the founder, the latest estimate is $30-40 million. In 2022, the business grew 11 times, and in 2023 - three times more. Now, NewHomesMate has more than 120 employees in Ukraine and the USA. The product is a platform for searching and purchasing newly built houses in 15 cities in seven states. The startup attracted $6.7 million in investments from American funds including u.ventures.

    🎉 Congratulations on Fintech Farm, a London-based company that provides digital banks know-how (neobanks) in emerging markets, which has raised $32 million in Series B financing round led by the London Stock Exchange-listed Bank of Georgia. The capital will help the company to expand its operations to India. Fintech Farm was founded by three Ukrainians Dmytro Dubilet, Oleksandr Vityaz, and Mykola Bezkrovny in 2020 and supported by u.ventures. It is a platform for launching neobanks in partnership with traditional banks around the world.

    🌟 u.ventures invested in Competera Pricing Platform. Since the beginning of the year, the startup has received more than $3 million in investments u.ventures became an investor in the Ukrainian startup Competera, which is developing an intelligent price optimization platform for retailers. The capital infusion will enable Competera to expand its AI capabilities, service offerings and scale globally. Horizon Capital and u.ventures investment director Bogdan Svyrydov said the fund is the only investor in this seed+ round. 💬 "U.ventures' first check at the seed stage is usually from $300,000 to $500,000. In follow-on rounds, we can significantly increase our total investment," says Svyrydov.

    🎉u.ventures joined the new round of investment of startup OneNotary Ukrainian start-up OneNotary, which provides online notary services, announced the closing of a $5 million Series A round and the start of a partnership with DocuSign The round was led by Jackson Square Ventures with participation from DocuSign founder Tom Gonser, as well as u.ventures, DocuSign Ventures, GoodPaper Ventures, Digital Future and The LegalTech Fund. OneNotary will use the raised funds for: 🔹Acceleration of marketing and sales; 🔸Strengthening of partnership relations; 🔹Product development to meet the demand for online verification services. Since its founding in 2020, OneNotary has been growing rapidly, with tens of thousands of notaries and clients using the product. In the last year, the company has doubled its revenue and its market of notaries across the country has grown to more than 30,000.
