Student run venture fund focused on early stage companies in under-capitalized markets or led by underestimated founders
About us
Founded in 2017, the University Venture Fund-Crossroads (UVFC) is both an investment fund and experiential learning program college students. We invest in early stage companies with a focus on underestimated founders and under-capitalized markets. Our team is comprised of graduate and undergraduate students in the greater Kansas City area or with strong Kansas City ties. Students are part of a private scholarship program sponsored by Royal Street Ventures, the Kauffman Foundation and others focused on experiential learning opportunity in private finance.
