Just last week, New York State announced $52.1 million dollars of awards to 133 initiatives that "...that seek to remove barriers to existing transportation services or expand transportation alternatives, including the purchase of new accessible buses or the addition of new #paratransit options." The The New York Public Transit Association's Annual Conference and Expo next week has the perfect theme given that historic investment: "Beyond the Route: Ideas, Insights, and Innovations in Public Transit." We are proud to be a sponsor of this year's conference to facilitate the sharing of ideas, insights, and innovations in paratransit. Our team is there to learn from innovative transit officials and their partners who are increasing #Mobility #Independence for All. Make sure to visit our booth (50), attend the Thursday Breakfast, or let us know if you want to schedule a meeting to discuss how the UZURV Adaptive Transportation Network Company (#AdaptiveTNC) model can save your system money, while increasing safety, reliability and rider satisfaction. See you Buffalo!

The transit industry is heading to Anaheim for the American Public Transportation Association TRANSform Conference. APTA TRANSform is a great opportunity to learn about innovations in Paratransit service provision - and we look forward to those discussions as we gather in Anaheim this weekend. We recommend you connect with colleagues from one of the innovative transit agencies across the US, including 5 of the top 10 agencies (by NTD demand-respond trips), that have leveraged fully FTA-compliant UZURV drivers to provide trips for supplemental #ADA #paratransit service and rider choice programs - even fully integrated within the dedicated service provision. To talk all things #paratransit and #accessibility (or to get off your feet in one of our cushy seats), swing by our booth (#413) during the Expo. Book Signing Alert: On Monday, September 30th at 10:30 AM join us for Ron Brooks and Kristen Joyner’s book signing for "All Aboard: Conducting Accessible Community Involvement for Public Transit" - a quick guide to engaging your community equitably across all ridership. To make time to meet with our staff or start a discussion about innovative partnerships that leverage our Adaptive Transportation Network Company model, reach out: apta@uzurv.com See you in Anaheim.

We're just days away from gathering in Anaheim for the American Public Transportation Association annual #TRANSform Conference. The APTA staff have again pulled together a great program, and we look forward to learning from innovative transit professionals from across the country who work tirelessly for #Mobility #Independence for All. For this year’s booth, we’ve created a space to foster conversation because talking about accessibility and equity is why we attend. To kick it off we’re hosting a talk and book-signing by our very own Senior Director of Policy and Stakeholder Engagement, Ron Brooks along with his co-author Kristen Joyner, President of KJ, Backpack, LLC. Together they wrote, "All Aboard: Conducting Accessible Community Involvement for Public Transit" - a quick guide to engaging everyone in your community in ways that are equitable across all ridership and will help improve your service (often in ways that don't cost agencies much money at all). We hope to see you in our booth (#413) at 10:30 am on Monday the 30th. And if you want to meet up at APTA, email us at APTA@uzurv.com!
