Meet Kellie & Alex of Mount Sunapee! Kellie started at Mount Sunapee in the Learning Center, handling reservations, lesson check-ins, and admin tasks for three seasons. She then joined the Alpine team as Race Crew for two years. Now in her third year as Parent Volunteer Coordinator for the Alpine Program and second at Goosefeathers, Kellie stays deeply involved with the Sunapee community. "I've always felt invested in the mountain's growth and success." Alex, her son, grew up skiing at Sunapee with his sister, Nina, starting in the Learning Center before joining the Alpine Program. After 10+ years as an athlete, he’s now a first-year U16/18 Alpine Coach!

A week for the books! The team at Whistler Blackcomb just wrapped up hosting the first ever hybrid Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 – and the energy was electric. Thank you to all our frontline team members, leadership, volunteers, employees, and community partners, for the hard work and dedication that contributed to this successful event. Together, we hosted over 500 competitors from 25 nations. Invictus means unconquered and embodies both the fighting spirit of the participating athletes and their conviction not to be defined by their trauma. Founded by Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, The Invictus Games Foundation supports the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded injured and sick international service personnel and veterans through sport. Inclusion and accessibility are core to the future of our sport, and our partnership with Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 underscores our commitment to growth. It was an honor to not only serve as a host venue alongside Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, but also to support the expansion of adaptive winter sports throughout the world.

Earlier this season, our team at Breck welcomed the incredible adaptive athletes of the Hartford Ski Spectacular – the nation’s largest winter sports festival for people with disabilities. For over three decades, thousands of participants have experienced the force that is SkiSpec. Hear from some of the athletes on their experiences at SkiSpec.

Meet Wildcat ski school legend Althea! Althea began skiing at the New Hampshire mountain in 1958, when the resort first opened, and was skiing nearly a decade before that. Her passion for ski racing was sparked after taking lessons from ski racer Bruce Fenn. This passion led her to skiing on the historic Wildcat Ski team, and served as president of the team for four years. She skied at Wildcat throughout the 1960s and 70s. By the mid-80s, she and her husband had season passes and joined the adult seasonal programs to level up their skiing. Althea first began teaching in 2000 with the kids' seasonal programs. Now, she instructs the after-school programs on Thursdays and Fridays. "While I enjoyed the seasonal program, I love the challenge of teaching young skiers in a 2-hour lesson." Last March, Althea and her daughter celebrated her 80th birthday by skiing at our sister resort, Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis, in the Swiss Alps on her Epic Pass with her daughter.

Last year we unveiled the My Epic App with Mobile Pass and Lift Ticket Technology, in service of continuous innovation for the guest experience. This winter, we’re excited to continue this journey with My Epic Assistant. This new in-app guide is powered by AI and resort experts, providing you with info from real-time snow conditions to rental and lessons.
