Today, the team at Northstar announced the launch of a new Winter Weekend and Holiday childcare program with non-profit early-childhood Waldorf program, Little Gems of the Sierra. Starting this December, this new offering builds on the success of Little Gems' year-round early-childhood education, which opened its doors in the Village at Northstar earlier this year. “We are grateful to partner with Little Gems to provide these essential programs at Northstar,” said Doug Burnett, Director of Base Area Operations at Northstar California Resort. “Initiatives like this are key to building a sustainable, thriving community, and it’s been really inspiring to see the collaboration come to life." Meet Tyler Squire, a year-round team member at Stowe! Lift Operator in the summer and Ticket Scanner in the winter, Tyler has been in the industry since the 90s, including five years at Breckenridge in the Ski & Ride School. "I left the industry but came back because I missed the outdoors and talking with guests from around the world. I wanted to work at Stowe since it's my favorite resort in the East, especially when skiing the Front Four. You’ll usually find me at the top of the gondola or on the Over-Easy. It's been a busy summer for our Whistler Blackcomb team and partners from Doppelmayr Canada. Hear from Heather Dufty on the latest Jersey Cream Express construction updates. Over the coming weeks, our team will finish installation of Lift Ops Storage Huts, begin cleanup and demobilization of Lot 8 (which has been used as a construction staging area), and finish the enclosures and underskins for the terminal stations.

On Tuesday we welcomed our Broomfield-based team members with a pancake breakfast and a ribbon-cutting to celebrate our return to the corporate office and transition to hybrid work. This marks the start of our corporate team's new ways of working. This iteration of hybrid work focuses on culture, connection, and collaboration - all key factors in how we create an Experience of a Lifetime.
