At Valent Partners, we value making an impact. Bold Idea teaches computer science to students in grades 3-12 through hands-on projects and mentoring from tech professionals. Students attend weekly sessions either at their Dallas ISD school, a community center, a nearby Dallas College campus, or online. “Being a volunteer with Bold Idea has given me the chance to inspire young minds by teaching programming concepts. We welcome Chase Sydow to our Valent team!! Chase is an experienced senior full-stack engineer with 10 years of experience in both the consulting and product development space. He has experience in web, backend, database, watch, and mobile application development as well as consulting experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams to refine, develop, and deliver transformative technical solutions. Known for his collaborative approach, Chase has worked closely with a wide range of clients and technologies across many different industries to accomplish long-term business objectives and drive success. Chase holds a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor, majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Music. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, playing golf with friends, tinkering with the latest software frameworks, playing jazz on the saxophone, and being a small group leader for college students at his church.

Canyon Jayroe is an accomplished technology consultant with experience in application modernization, release management, and product management. With significant experience in the energy industry, he has a proven track record of leading enterprise system deployments, optimizing deployment pipelines, and developing strategic technology roadmaps that achieve his client's goals. Canyon holds a Bachelor's degree from Baylor, double majoring in Management Information Systems and Marketing. Outside work, Canyon enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing golf with friends, and tackling DIY house projects. He is also passionate about volunteering at his church and supporting Dallas Life, a homeless recovery center.

Valentian Spotlight | Arsalan Nadeem Arsalan is a seasoned Management and Technology Consulting Professional with over 14 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver transformative business and technical solutions. He specializes in program and project management, strategic planning, and vendor selection, helping organizations achieve their operational and strategic goals. With experience across industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, financial services, and non-profits, Arsalan has supported clients in aligning technology with business objectives, improving processes, and managing complex enterprise-wide initiatives. His expertise includes risk management, team leadership, IT systems integration, and organizational change management. Known for his collaborative approach, he works closely with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that drive long-term success. Arsalan holds an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from SMU and dual bachelor's degrees from UT Arlington. He is committed to delivering results by combining technical expertise with a strategic mindset tailored to each client’s unique needs.

In December a few of us at Valent made our way out to Trinity River Audubon Center to help with environment clean up. We got to connect with nature and make a difference in our local wildlife habitat. Trinity River Audubon Center is a nonprofit organization based in South Dallas focused on conserving and restoring natural habitats while fostering education and community programs. The center's 100+ acres sit on a former illegal dump site and through a partnership with the City of Dallas has been reclaimed as a haven for nature and wildlife.

This 'BOLD' thing challenges me to deliver more, speak directly more, listen intently more...daily challenge keeps me young(er) and energized!!
