Established in 1993 as a division of The Vane Brothers Company, Vane Brothers Marine Safety & Services (VBMSS) is a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life raft service and inspection station with facilities in Baltimore, Maryland, and Norfolk, Virginia. VBMSS handles life raft, immersion suit, inflatable life jacket, and fire suppression equipment sales and service for commercial vessels and recreational craft all along the U.S. East Coast and beyond, with special emphasis on the ports of New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Wilmington (Delaware), Baltimore, Norfolk (all Virginia ports), and Morehead City/Wilmington (North Carolina). The company’s manufacturer- and class-approved lifeboat and davit service technicians are available to travel to all Eastern U.S. & Canadian, Gulf, and Caribbean ports.
