We were one of the first U.S. asset managers to offer investors access to international markets. This set the tone for the firm’s drive to identify asset classes and trends—including gold investing in 1968, emerging markets in 1993, and Exchange Traded Funds in 2006—that subsequently shaped the investment management industry. Today, VanEck offers active and passive strategies with compelling exposures supported by well-designed investment processes. The firm’s capabilities range from core investment opportunities to more specialized exposures to enhance portfolio diversification. Our actively managed strategies are fueled by in-depth, bottom-up research and security selection from portfolio managers with direct experience in the sectors and regions in which they invest. Investability, liquidity, diversity, and transparency are key to the experienced decision-making around market and index selection underlying VanEck’s passive strategies. Since our founding in 1955, putting our clients’ interests first, in all market environments, has been at the heart of the firm’s mission.

Let’s be honest: crypto is at a crossroads. Obsession with infrastructure investments and token launches has created an imbalance, diverting attention from products that deliver real value to users. Trust has eroded as too many VCs chase short-term gains with unlocks. What’s missing? Real conviction, commitment, and accountability.   Despite shaky sentiment and regulatory migraines, we’re not backing down. We believe this technology will reshape the financial system and beyond.   That's why we're launching VanEck Ventures, a $30M early-stage fund committed to investing in visionary founders operating at the intersection of fintech, crypto, and artificial intelligence. We've already launched liquid token funds, ETFs, and ETPs, but this fund marks our expansion into the early-stage venture ecosystem, where we think some of the most exciting companies in fintech are being built today.   Our investment philosophy is clear: We're infrastructure-agnostic and investing in exceptional teams defining the application layer in their respective categories. Our core focus includes tokenized asset issuers, marketplaces, on-chain payments middleware, and applications built on stablecoins.   VanEck Ventures will be led by Wyatt Lonergan and Juan Lopez, formerly of Circle Ventures, where they invested in over 100 early-stage companies from infrastructure to consumer applications. We expect to make 25 to 35 investments with check sizes around $1 million over the next few years. The fund has already made four investments to be announced soon.   If you’re a founder crazy enough to build something great, we may be crazy enough to fund it. Let’s talk. DM Wyatt Lonergan and Juan C. Lopez

Mega-cap growth continues to be the predominant market force, making many investors overdependent on ongoing performance directly tied to the current market environment. With uncertain conditions given recent macro events, diversification and stock selection (beyond broad growth and technology exposure) could become even more critical to equity exposure. With its focus on high quality and attractive valuations independent of style or sector, Morningstar’s wide moat investing philosophy offers investors a proven contrarian approach that, after a recent index rebalance, has increased exposure to core stocks relative to the S&P 500 Index. Hear directly from Morningstar’s equity research team for their perspective on market trends and the companies they cover. Register here: https://lnkd.in/e8aj2yCG We’ll highlight recent portfolio changes, including: -Current portfolio characteristics, including overweight to core/blend stocks -New wide moat companies added to the portfolio -Live Q&A with Morningstar’s equity research team on select moat-rated companies

The changes from one quarter to another are amazing. *in Q3, the two largest economies in the world both moved to stimulative monetary policy *in Q3, smaller stocks and emerging markets outperformed Nasdaq (more to come?) *after Q4, the U.S. election will be over, but we can guess some things about 2025. Please listen. Thanks to Adam Taggart VanEck David Schassler
