Today, we asked Anthony Vahue, Project Accountant at Vantage, about his decision to pursue a career in the construction industry …     “After helping to build and maintain various aspects of our family’s summer house growing up, I quickly grew an interest in the entire construction process from start to finish. I was fortunate enough to intern at Vantage in both the field and the office as a college student, which allowed me to see all the opportunities available within the construction industry. We asked Kimberly Boyer, one of our dependable Estimators, about how being on Team Vantage fulfills her decision to pursue a career in the construction field –     “Having a career at Vantage is so fulfilling to me because I have such a great work family. Working with a great, supportive team really does make all the difference. It takes effort on every level to have a successful project, and it’s great to see people pitching in from every department to make it happen. On this #ThrowbackThursday, we’re excited to revisit a three-story office building renovation that we worked on for Hobbs Brook Real Estate on Winter Street in Waltham, MA!   Vantage Builders completely renovated, upgraded, and transformed the common areas and demoed existing tenant areas within the space to create a “white box” in order to prepare the building for future occupants. We teamed up with Maugel DeStefano Architects to transform the main entrance on the second floor into a multi-level lobby atrium, complete with bright lights and custom cable railings. The third-floor roof balcony was outfitted with new perimeter railings, roof, and insulation; bringing this space up to code and meeting ADA standards.
