There is one major risk factor when hiring a new BIM contractor that, if present, will put brakes on the whole project — from the design phase to the job site work.🙅 BAD COMMUNICATION. Many teams know how to protect their projects from a lack of experience, neglecting agreed-upon schedules, low-quality service, etc. However, when it comes to communication, it's hard to know if a BIM provider is qualified until you are already working together. Always be mindful of the BIM contractor’s communication. Do not let the low price dictate your final decision as it may cost a lot more to push the project forward. What are your thoughts?
