📝 Meet our newest Project Manager, Weston Turner! A native Texan from Granbury, Weston traveled abroad for several years living in Japan and Australia. After returning to the states, he attended The University of Texas at Arlington where he studied civil engineering. 3 KEYS FOR SAFETY TRAINING 🔑 1. Education Safety is a very important part of building our business and to the professional growth of our team. Most of the time, people do not break the safety rules because they don’t care. It’s usually because they don’t know the rules or how they are applied. Both of those issues can be solved with training. 🔑 2. Implementation Whether it be through E-Learning, a classroom environment, or even a visit to the job site for a 15-minute safety meeting, safety training can help immensely in building a culture of safe work practices. Stay in the good graces of OSHA, insurance companies and your clients with: OSHA 10 for Team Members OSHA 30 for the Foremen First AID/CPR Training Competent Person Training 🔑 3. Enforcement Safety is a trickle-down effect. When upper management cares about safety and invests time and money into their people, it shows they really do care about their workers. Superintendents and Foremen will then care about those practices and enforce that knowledge on their job sites. Most importantly the people we all rely on who actually get the job done will appreciate the time, effort and money we spend to give them the tools and knowledge they need to succeed and go home safely every night.
