Veterans Cybersecurity Group, is conducting a Request for Proof (RFP) exercise to evaluate Zero Trust Network Authentication (ZTNA) solutions in a real-world environment. Here's a breakdown of the key information provided: 1. Objectives: • Assess the effectiveness of ZTNA solutions in a simulated cyber attack scenario. • Validate the resilience of ZTNA implementations against sophisticated threats. • Gather empirical evidence to inform future ZTNA procurement decisions. 2. Participants: • Blue Team: US Service Members engaged in the SecDevOps SkillBridge program. • Red Team: NSA Exploitation Analysts and experienced Red Team penetration testers. • Purple Team: VCSG Project managers, federal contractors, and agencies planning their ZTNA approach. 3. Key Activities: • Collaborative development and deployment of ZTNA solutions on a dedicated development network. • Rigorous testing of ZTNA solutions on a hostile cyber range during a Red Team, Blue Team, Purple Team exercise. • Comprehensive evaluation of ZTNA solutions' effectiveness in thwarting simulated cyber-attacks.
