My response to all of those claiming that "personalization" is the answer to these Google changes... Even if you handwrite all 300 emails in an outreach sequence, some percentage of people will (likely) mark you as spam just because they don't want to see your outreach anymore, and this red button is easier than unsubscribing. Which means... We will either have a world where NO cold outreach is possible unless, truly, you already have a real connection to someone. Or... They will keep the thresholds on volume high enough that automation will still be possible by spinning up more domains, addresses, and IPs. At college graduation, my Dad gives us each one of his watches. Mine being the Omega Seamaster on the left... For me, this watch is a symbolic reminder: Success requires sacrifice. My Dad had this on his wrist through all-nighters, frustrating Monday mornings, interrupted vacations, getting burned by unpaid receivables, etc... But he kept going to give his kids the opportunities he did. Fast forward...and I am now working on carrying on the tradition. The Omega will be with me until I die. But, for each kid I have, my plan is to add a watch that they see on my wrist growing up... So, someday, the lessons I hope to teach them can live on their wrist(s), too.
