Congratulations Khalilah Brown and Southern Research - and especially to the state of Alabama for this groundbreaking initiative! One of the most important aspects of Catalyst: bringing #clinicaltrials to rural populations and under-served communities in the state. In Dr. Brown's own words: “We’re missing women, we’re missing people of minority populations, we’re missing rural populations. And so when Alabama is more than 45% rural, so many of us are being left out of that. Meet… Letheshia H.! Letheshia is Vibrent’s Director of Partner Engagement. She has been a key part of our team for over 2 years. Letheshia loves travel, the great outdoors, and diverse culinary experiences. When she’s not exploring food festivals around the country, she is deeply immersed in her role here at Vibrent Health. With a background in sociology and public health, she brings over a decade of research experience in both academic and clinical settings. As Director of Partner Engagement, she leads the charge in collaborating with research institutions to seamlessly transition their research workflows to Vibrent’s cutting-edge digital health research platform. Letheshia describes being part of the Vibrent family as an incredible journey of personal and professional growth. From day one, she has felt empowered to take risks, explore new ideas, and embrace challenges. She describes Vibrent’s culture as creating an environment that's conducive to continuous learning and thriving—a place where you can really “go for it” with new ideas. Letheshia is grateful to be part of a company that not only values innovation but provides the space for it to flourish. In addition to her personal growth, Letheshia is grateful to be part of Vibrent’s mission to accelerate #healthresearch. As a seasoned researcher, it has always been her mission to find answers that truly make a difference. In her years of hands-on experience, she has witnessed the transformative impact of research outcomes on advancing our understanding of health and healthcare. Still many patients carry the burden of unknown aspects of their conditions. Further research will lighten the load on patients and their families and equip healthcare providers to uncover vital answers. We can make this happen sooner when we accelerate health research through the adoption of technology. Making that happen is Letheshia’s passion.
