This year's Maryland Clean Energy Summit, hosted by the Maryland Clean Energy Center, brought together forward-thinking industry leaders for insightful presentations and conversations on the future of clean energy.💡 Vicinity's Chief Sustainability Officer Matt O'Malley participated in the Building Energy Performance roundtable, an engaging conversation moderated by Program Manager of the Climate Change Program at the Maryland Department of the Environment Mark Stewart. The roundtable shared ideas on how the public and private sector can work together to achieve reduced carbon emissions in buildings. Last week, Vicinity held our annual sales meeting in #Atlanta, GA! The team came together from across our operations to share ideas, set goals, and learn more about recent market trends as well as updates to Vicinity's electrification progress. There was also time for fun - the team toured our Atlanta chilled water facility that serves Atlantic Station and visited our customers at the Millennium Gate Museum for some great food, exhibits, and views of the sunset. Vicinity's Massachusetts Maritime Academy alumni took part in the annual alumni golf tournament as part of the homecoming weekend ⛳ Vicinity had a foursome participate in the tournament, and some of the team's '94 graduates also were able to meet up for a 30-year reunion!
