Thank you to our friends at Huntsville Symphony Orchestra for sharing your time and talents with our scholars! We got to hear some beautiful music and enjoyed learning about how all the instruments come together to create something beautiful...Much like our Village! ❤

Thank you so much to our community for coming out for our Community Spring Festival! It was so good seeing new and old friends! We couldn't have done it without our friends at Saint Bartley Primitive Baptist Church for helping us host this awesome event!

Did you know we have adult education resources? We help provide instruction and coursework for non-high school degreed adults preparing to take the GED exam, English as a Second Language, adult literacy (pictured here!), and workforce/career development! ⁣ ⁣ While there are several programs for our children, we are a 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 advancement program and create individualized plans for the 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 family unit to help everyone achieve their hopes and dreams! ⁣ ⁣ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝? 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭! 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐭 (𝟐𝟓𝟔) 𝟓𝟑𝟔-𝟖𝟎𝟓𝟐!

It's spring break! We know lots of folks are probably traveling but we wanted to share some recent travels of our own! Our team had the best time with Harlem Children's Zone in NYC last month. The work that they are doing for the children of NYC is truly incredible. We are honored to mirror the structures, programs, work and dedication of their guiding foundational principles to Huntsville. Thank you for making us feel like family and HCZ will always be a part of our village!

Our planters in our outdoor classroom are getting fresh dirt, seeds, and flowers! Thanks to our staff and #SERVEDay volunteers who worked last week on a little spring refresh! We can't wait to see what starts blooming at the village! ❤

We are ending this week on a high note for sure! On Wednesday we gathered for Father Figure Kite Day at VoP! Our PreK scholars got to fly kites with their fathers or father figures and we enjoyed time outside with a little twist of misting rain! A little rain can't keep this village down! Teamwork makes the dream work and this team (and others not pictured!) keeps working the dream! Thanks to WAFF 48 News for joining in on the fun!

We had the privilege of having Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University Theater Ensemble share their talent with our scholars last week! What a sound that filled our building! We are thankful for the gifts of these awesome students who are doing incredible things and we are thankful they are a part of our village! ❤
