Texas Judge Ada Brown has issued an Order and preliminary injunction against the FTC’s finalized rule banning #noncompete agreements, for plaintiffs only. Brown found that the Commission lacks authority to create such rules and that the rule was arbitrary and capricious. A final ruling is expected by August 30, 2024, which may block the rule.
