We are in "information overload" right now when it comes to the concept of artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, AI is kind of taking on a life of its own. One bright spot in all of this is there is so much opportunity if you can just cut through the noise... The team at ViQi is doing just that by specifically focusing on predictive AI and the value of machine learning to accelerate life science research, technology, and manufacturing! Our approach is to advance tissue and cell-based assays, leveraging predictive AI and imaging technology: from basic brightfield microscope images to mind-blowing tech like holographic images and everything in between. 🚨 Revolutionary New Viral Infectivity Assay 🚨 ViQi Inc have developed an Automated Viral Infectivity Assay (AVIA), a breakthrough in viral research. Using convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and both SYNENTEC GmbH's #CELLAVISTA and #NYONE for high-throughput brightfield microscopy, the AI-based AVIA detects infection phenotypes before they are even visible, saving several days compared to traditional methods. During the COVID-19 upheaval, it became clear that we need to better understand viral infectivity.
