🎉 Today marks a decade since I started my journey building VOGLIO Digital Marketing, and what a ride it has been! 🚀 Ten years ago, I started VOGLIO as a hack-a-thon project to use first-party user data to build & optimize digital marketing campaigns. From pushing the limits of the AdWords API to leading a team that feels more like family, every moment has contributed to an incredible journey of growth, challenges, and countless learning opportunities. Some standout milestones include: - Developing one of the most sophisticated cohort-based, first-party data & reporting platforms that I've seen to date - Scaling one of our initial affiliate website projects to over $3 million per year - Programmatically managing & optimizing a client that operated 180+ completely volume-limited AdWords accounts (there was a very necessary reason for this scale) - Designing, building and managing a massively high-performing SEO website for a publicly-traded financial services firm - Acquiring get.petinsurancequotes.com from Petco and scaling it up with our best-in-class first-party data platform - Supporting our clients through over 12 major private-equity-backed sales Reflecting on the past decade, I am grateful for the mentors who guided me, the peers who inspired me, and the clients who trusted us with their visions. Together, we've not only achieved goals but also pushed the boundaries of what's possible in digital marketing. A huge thank you to everyone at VOGLIO for making these years truly memorable. I am excited to see what the next decade holds for us. Let's keep innovating and leading the way in this dynamic industry! 💡🌐

The deprecation of third party cookies is coming. That’s a scary thing for advertisers to hear, and it’s made even scarier by the somewhat unclear recommended solutions by advertising platforms. But with the right reporting and attribution solutions, this change doesn’t need to be as scary as originally anticipated. Google, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn are doing what they can to mitigate the impact of this change on its advertisers, and, most importantly to them, their advertising revenue. However, it’s still unclear what impact these changes will have on advertisers, and how much the solutions developed by advertising platforms will be able to mitigate any large impacts to targeting and conversion tracking caused by this change. One thing is for certain and that is that first party data is becoming increasingly important. We’ve spent the last 10 years utilizing our clients’ first party data from systems like #Salesforce, #Mixpanel, #Amplitude, #Hubspot, and other custom CRM/DB solutions to help them understand the value they’re getting from their advertising dollars. We’ve refined our process of connecting our clients’ marketing data to their sales data into one dashboard that shows the full funnel performance of our clients’ ads. While advertising platforms fight over who should get credit for a conversion and have varying methods of attribution, our full funnel reporting has always served as a source of truth in showing the true value of a marketing channel. With the deprecation of third party cookies, it’s expected that in platform conversions will be even less accurate than they are today. In the coming months, the dashboards we build for our clients will be the one steady thing as everything in the advertising world changes. If you’re looking for help with how to utilize your first party sales data to support your advertising strategy through these changes feel free to message me.

  • Does volume = value when it comes to SEO? 🤔 VOGLIO Digital Marketing Sr. SEO & Content Strategy Manager Vanessa Ronquillo shares her thoughts. “SEO isn’t just about driving volume. It's about directing organic leads that will bring meaningful business to our clients. We focus on incorporating valuable, high-converting keywords into their SEO and content strategy to help support their goals.” As organic lead generation continues to be a challenge for many businesses, we've committed to a different angle. Instead of getting lost in the noise of high-volume keywords that may not deliver tangible results, we prioritize putting our efforts into valuable, converting keywords that directly contribute to our clients' success and help them achieve sustainable growth and maximize their ROI. ➕Learn more about who we are and the great things we can do together at https://lnkd.in/g8tyrfDD. #leadgeneration #digitalmarketing #SEO

If you're in the digital marketing field, this is a must-read. Google has previously signaled that the future is one without third-party cookie tracking, and, it seems like this year, that change is finally happening. As we consider our marketing programs, it's important to plan for the implications of this shift. If you rely on third-party conversion tracking systems or third-party audience targeting, there's a very good chance that these will become severely impaired or obsolete. The good news is that these changes shouldn't significantly impact programs managed using first-party data. If you view CRM data or app production data as the source of truth for marketing performance, you're likely well-prepared. If this is worrisome, feel free to shoot me a note. We've spent the last 9 years figuring out how to manage campaigns utilizing first-party data for both lead generation and ecommerce programs. You don't want to be caught off guard with this change. https://lnkd.in/gJdxJb88
