The annual Circleville Pumpkin Show commences each October, showcasing local harvests and vibrant local spirit. 🎃 This year, the Voinovich School is also conducting an economic impact study to understand the event's impact on the Circleville community. Led by students and faculty, the team collected data by speaking with show-goers and vendors, gathering insights on visitor spending, overnight stays and purchases at local businesses.

We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Jo Ann Davidson, the first and only female Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives. Speaker Davidson demonstrated a passion for living a full life — hard work, perseverance, integrity and having the confidence to open new doors. We were honored to learn from her as a member of the Ohio University Leadership and Public Affairs Advisory Committee, as well as, a recipient of the Ohio University Outstanding State Government award. Senator Voinovich and the Speaker were always ready and willing to share their experiences with OHIO students, but also to encourage their commitment to public service.

Destruction as a result of severe weather affects people across the United States, but older adults are disproportionately vulnerable to this type of danger. The formation of the Grey Green Alliance (GGA) focuses on solutions that support older adult communities while being environmentally friendly.
