It’s been a busy week for us and today I’m thrilled to be announcing our investment in Averlon! Security is an asymmetric game for defenders monitoring applications & infrastructure against new threats. This means that the fundamental job of a security team is risk management. These folks come into work every day with a mandate to identify the most effective things they can do, in the shortest period of time, to reduce risk in their organization. Among the millions of vulnerabilities in the cloud, only a small subset pave the way for real world attacks and create true risk.
