The ladies from our Huntsville location (and one visiting from our Hope Hull facility) visited Free 2 Teach this morning to drop off donations we’ve been collecting for the teachers in Madison County! It was a wonderful experience learning about and seeing how this organization supports the teachers in our community which in turn support our children and schools!

Our July Women@Work spotlight is on Alora Fisher. For 23 years, Alora has served various industries in the areas of Human Resources, Legal and Administrative services at Miltope with roles in professional training & development, oil and gas, federal construction, heavy volume manufacturing and rugged computing manufacturing. With a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alabama in Corporate Management and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Alora also completed her Juris Doctorate which she has used to compliment her passion in strategic Human Resources. Alora has a strong belief that Human Resources plays an incredibly important role in the success of Miltope in the strategic leveraging of talent, future development and care of an organization’s most valuable assets…. its people. As Vice President of Administration of Miltope, Alora serves as the central liaison for the day-to-day administrative needs of the BU simultaneously balancing the areas of Employee Relations, Training and Development, Payroll, Total Rewards, General Counsel, Contracts, Regulatory and Trade Compliance, Cadence Efficiency/Archiving as well as USG Security. Alora serves as the Secretary for both Miltope Corporation and ST Engineering North America Government by aiding its Executives and Board of Directors in the overall business success. “It has been a true pleasure working with Dianne Howells, our W@W Chairwoman and Tim McBride, our sponsor in the development and successful launch of the ST Engineering in North America Women@Work program.
