WABE reposted this
Yesterday I got the opportunity to represent WABE on a panel with some VERY distinguished creatives from PBS stations across the country. We discussed how we work with filmmakers in our communities and the various ways we reach out into our communities to be apart of it as a distributor and an active member within it. The time I’ve spent with the HOT SPRINGS DOCUMENTARY FILM INSTITUTE at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival has been empowering and inspiring. I’ve met a ton of passionate people who’re creating and sharing great work and others who’re in the process of bringing new work to life. With only one day left, I’m ready to view a few more films, compile my notes, and head back to my team in Atlanta with great insight and some great films to share!
