Each quarter, we honor a team with the Tech>FWD award for their outstanding efforts in creating solutions that enhance the experiences of our customers, members, sellers, and associates. We often receive dozens of nominations, and this round was no different. After narrowing it down to seven finalists, our leaders selected the Global Seller Experience Team as the winner for their solution ‘Global Item Set-up’! As we continue to expand into new markets, suppliers and Walmart Marketplace sellers have opportunities to reach new customers. ‘Global Item Set-up’ has streamlined the process of listing items within those markets by enabling Walmart sellers to select existing items in their U.S. catalog, choose the markets they want to list in and add tax codes and prices to items in one place. The listings are then translated and added to the catalogs and corresponding websites with the click of a button. Congrats to the teams that were nominated and to the winning team!
