College of Merchandising, Hospitality & Tourism at the University of North Texas
Prof. Todd Uglow and his EDEM 1600 Intro to Events class visited the Olana in Hickory Creek earlier this week, one of the largest and most luxurious event venues in all of Texas. The space is owned and operated by Walters Hospitality, the largest wedding and event company in Texas. Students learned about how the booking process works, catering options, room set-up and more. They also toured the facility, which has its own bowling alley, movie theater and luxury car fleet.
