The Wizard of Oz... canna-fied! Keep an eye out to see where the Wizard of the Ounce takes off next. 🎭
Drives 🌿 dispensary sales from repeat customers | Reduces marketing costs | Increases customer loyalty | Marketing Leader
This show needs to go on the road! The talented Kelly Curtin wrote and directed "Wizard of the Ounce," a hilarious live performance based on the all-time classic, Wizard of OZ. The cast featured local performers and industry members who nailed the insider jokes poking fun at compliance, regulations, consumption, and more. It was a nice reprieve from the polarized world and felt good to be able to laugh at ourselves (and others) and not take everything so seriously. It debuted in Denver this week thanks to support from Cirrus Social Club, Wana Brands Bud & Mary’s, SC Labs and others.

Team Wana having no fun at all in Ohio. 😉
Ohio? Love it. I spent last weekend in Cleveland hanging out with Wana Brands' Ohio team at Ohio Cannabis Health & Business Summit. It was a solid time. You might already know this, but Ohio recently became the 24th state to legalize adult-use cannabis. Because of the growth of the Ohio market we're able to continue to grow as well. Welcome to the Ohio team, Patrick Aylward. Not that you need any introductions since you knew literally every single person we ran into last weekend. Shoutout to Krissy Alyateem for thinking it was a good idea to get a disposable camera. It was actually a fantastic idea. Some of those photos are below. (Just FYI If you live in the Denver area and you're looking for photo developing services hit up Not Another Film Lab on Kalamath) Lastly, Kurt Kaufmann, great talk on how to improve budtending / the budtender experience through education and loyalty. I could list out all your excellent points, but that would take too long.

Thank you to everyone who came out to care for themselves and, in turn, our community. We can't wait to do it again with you soon! Special shoutout to Solonje Burnett for going the extra mile to curate this unique wellness experience. 🧡
Curated my first Wana Brands wellness experience this past weekend and wow what a feeling. I was uhaul truck driver, curator, host, backup singer, comedian, moderator, volunteer organizer and everything in between to ensure that Saturday’s rainy day Reflection: Community Care allowed a full house of humans at Ideal Glass Studios to release, regenerate and restore energetically in an intimate and intentional setting. Enhanced by wana's quick gummies, immersed in Weed Auntie healing experiences led by Liana Naima and Dr. Elizabeth with melodic frequencies by Treya Lam, education by Duclas M. Charles, PharmD all powered by Polanco brother's / Torches NY dispensary - our interdependence was realized through the radical act of a reciprocal collective care practice. Still receiving notes of appreciation from attendees who appreciatted the opportunity to journal, sit in sound bath, sample product, and connect with like-minded individuals. We lift each other up when we care for our community. Thanks to all who helped co-create the container. Video by Kay Rosario #wellbeing #communitycare
