𝗪𝗔𝗢𝗣 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰
𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬: 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚
The 2024 edition of the yearly WAOP congress is set to take place on November 29th in the city center of Utrecht, in the heart of the Netherlands. Organised by Universiteit Utrecht, the congress aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, and students from both the 'Low Countries' and beyond. Attendees will have ample opportunity to participate in stimulating discussions, attend state-of-the-art presentations, (re)connect with colleagues and friends, as well as enjoy the panoramic view of Utrecht at the La Vie Conference Center.
This year's theme, 𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸: 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦, underscores the vital connection between employee well-being in its broadest sense and organisational performance. The congress will feature a plenary keynote speech delivered by Jessica de Bloom (she,her,hers) (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), plus a variety of presentations, meetings and symposia on topics such as (causes and consequences of) employee well-being, leadership, organisational culture, diversity and inclusion, et cetera.
We invite submissions from academics and practitioners interested in sharing their latest insights in work and organisational psychology and related fields, such as personnel psychology, human resource management studies, business administration, and other interdisciplinary approaches to understanding employee functioning in the context of organisations.
To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and insights between researchers and practitioners, the conference also includes a practitioner session, in close collaboration with the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists. This practical session focuses on the practical implications of research and aims to encourage discussion at the intersection of theory and practice.

Abstracts can be submitted until July 12. Abstracts should contain a maximum of 300 words and should follow this structure:
1. Purpose of the study (research question, hypotheses)
2. Method
3. Results
4. Theoretical and practical implications
When you submit your abstract, you can indicate whether you would like to be considered for the best paper award and/or participate in a practitioner session. More information can be found on the conference website (link in the comments).
