The Notice of Intent to approve the Tyger River Mitigation Bank was issued August 30, 2024! As a result, 544 acres will be protected along the Tyger River, to include 23,000+ linear feet of stream preservation and 48,000+ linear feet of stream enhancement and restoration. The project incorporates riparian wetland complexes as well. Many thanks to the Bank Sponsor for your patience and many thanks to Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., the Charleston District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the South Carolina Interagency Review Team for all your hard work in getting this one across the finish line. Stream and wetland credits should be available within 60 to 90 days for purchase.
