Join Simon Sinek and Eitan Vesely as they discuss new research that can help make good leaders become great. We go behind the scenes to explore how Explainable AI is upending our understanding of leadership. Topics include: Am I a micro-manager? What does the data say? Should my employees work after hours? For early detection of talent risk. People Analytics reimagined.
About us
What if talent risk could be predicted? With AI analytics it can. Losing key talent impacts engagement, accelerates attrition, and harms employer reputation. And we rarely see it coming. Yet, despite expectations for real-time analytics and agility, HR still relies on periodic surveys, gut intuition, and time-consuming manual spreadsheets, Watercooler lets you see what’s really happening in your organization. Every function of an organization is becoming more data-driven and so is HR. Now you can look at a team’s digital footprint and get a real-time view. This gives an HR manager early detection of talent risk and insights for customized intervention. The result: • retain key talent • maintain high engagement • take better care of your people

It’s often said, “People don’t leave companies, they leave managers.” While there is truth to this, the relationship between leadership and retention is more complex. The topic is now pertinent after the media reports about how Nvidia employees are “suffering” from harsh working conditions (long hours, intense pressure, and a lack of work-life balance). But Nvidia’s employees have benefited from stock gains, making many of them millionaires. The result: Nvidia’s retention rate is higher than industry averages. Is the lesson here that everyone has their price? Or are Nvidia employees the outliers? Our full article is here: https://lnkd.in/dZCHiTgt #peopleanalytics #futureofwork

Watercooler's Eitan Vesely and Simon Sinek recently discussed how leaders can find a healthy balance between a hands-off and hands-on approach. AI plays a big role. In Simon Sinek's latest article, he explains that AI can’t replace human leadership but can help show good leaders what they need to adjust to be the best leaders they can be for the culture in which they work.
Optimist, New York Times bestselling author of "Start with Why" and "The Infinite Game", and founder of The Optimism Company
I’ve always sworn by my laissez-faire leadership style, which is something I’ve debated for years with those who are more prone to micro-managing. They make the argument that they have to be hands-on because when they are hands-off things go wrong too often. Who’s right? 🧐 I was excited to dive into the data with Watercooler CEO, Eitan Vesely, for answers:
Hands-On or Hands-Off: Which Leadership Style Is Better?

Great article from our partners at TriSearch on AI and #peopleanalytics. AI often gets a bad reputation in the workplace, with concerns about job displacement and employee surveillance. But there's a different side to AI that can create a better work environment—helping organizations understand when employees need to be seen, heard, and appreciated. One interesting finding: there's a "sweet spot" of 1-2 interactions per week between managers and employees that minimizes flight risk. Too little interaction leads to disengagement, while too much can feel like micro-management. AI can make work more human by learning the unique behaviors of teams and providing targeted recommendations. This helps us at TriSearch collaborate with clients to create more effective candidate success profiles and make better hiring decisions. People analytics is evolving, and we’re excited to be part of this transformation! #AI #PeopleAnalytics #HRTech #FutureOfWork Anthony Fogel
Can Artificial Intelligence make us act more human? Think Goldilocks. AI gets a bad rap, especially when it comes to the workplace. For years, we’ve been hearing about job displacement, employee surveillance, and task automation, but there is another side of AI that can make a better workplace: uncovering when employees need to be seen, heard and appreciated.
