Welcome, Cook Children's Health Care System to our community! We had a wonderful time celebrating at your Ribbon Cutting and Fall into Fun Festival. It was a pleasure hearing from Dr. Gilmore, Pediatrician, and Robert Goodwill, Senior VP & Chief Operating Officer of Cook Children’s Physician Network. From well checks and immunizations to managing chronic conditions, schedule same-day appointments, virtual visits, or meet the team before your child is born. Dr. Gilmore values family and treats each patient with the same care he would want for his own children. After six years in minor league baseball, he pursued medicine, completing his undergraduate degree at Dallas Baptist University, medical school at the University of Iowa, and pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With a large family and children of his own, providing family-centered care is a top priority, and he loves the long-term relationships pediatrics allows. The 4th class of Leadership Ellis County kicked off their journey with an exciting retreat last week! 🎉 Participants dove into team-building games, a fun talent competition, and heard inspiring testimonials from past graduates. Each team will now begin working together on a unique, year-long community project. A special thanks to Dr. Deviney, retired professor from Tarleton State University, for sharing his wisdom and insights during the retreat. We also would like to show appreciation to The Abbey Estate for hosting our off-site team-building activities!
