Meet Danielle Lovett, Payables Accountant at Wayne-Sanderson Farms, who volunteers at the Sanderson Farms Championship for the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with people from all walks of life. Meet Kyla Dixon, Occupational Health and Safety Nurse (LPN) at Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ Hammond, Louisiana plant. With healthcare at the heart of her role every day, Kyla felt compelled to volunteer at the Sanderson Farms Championship to support Children’s of Mississippi. Reflecting on the company’s core values, she shares, “At Wayne-Sanderson Farms, we believe in our value of stewardship. Meet Joshua Robinson, Live Haul Supervisor at Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ Tyler, Texas complex. Though now working in Texas, Joshua’s Mississippi roots run deep, and he is proud to give back to his home state by returning to volunteer at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Supporting Children’s of Mississippi has always been a cause close to his heart, and it aligns perfectly with the company’s core value of stewardship. Reflecting on this connection, he states, “Giving back to our only children’s hospital in the state and being able to contribute through my company is a great opportunity.” #MakingChickenAmazing

Hilary Burroughs, Vice President of Marketing at Wayne-Sanderson Farms, is proud to have her son, Carter, volunteering for the third time as a standard bearer at the Sanderson Farms Championship. As she reflects on their experiences together at the tournament over the years, she says, “It’s super exciting to see Carter take part as a volunteer. He’s been coming to this event since he was just a year old and he enjoys the game.” With the recent announcement that the tournament will continue for one last year in 2025, she adds, “We're thrilled to know he can have this experience again next year!” #MakingChickenAmazing
