#Money💰 is always the central theme in whatever numerous print and digital media have written about me so far… however it just feels nice when a reputed media house wrote about my life beyond #Business   I read and watch a lot of content, however very rarely, a conscious effort goes into finding the real person through an interview. Be it a business personality, or a politician or a sports star, the questions are centred around professional activities, past achievements and future plans. If something about their personal life is every written, it is mostly with the hidden motive of generating gossips and playing to the gallery.   I am grateful to Tejas Gujarathi and Mahesh dharmadhikari to be different, genuine and purpose driven. Very kind of you to write this short article about my personal journey.   We Connect Magazine is a magazine very popular in the social-entrepreneurial sector in #Maharashtra and beyond.   #WeConnect is published by a very popular social impact organization Worship Earth Foundation ideated, conceptualized and mentored by Honourable Mr. Parag Mate   #WEFoundation is headquartered in #Pune with two central offices. It boasts of a network of 12 training centres and 9 branch offices across #Maharashtra [ #Nagpur #Vardha #Latur #Jalna #Aurangabad #Ahmednagar #Nashik #Satara #Kolhapur #Thane ] Through a network of 7,500 active volunteers, it has completed 1,200 socio-economic initiatives in Maharashtra… and counting.   It is the same organization which conceptualized and successfully executed the award-winning and policy-defining Electoral Literacy Club #ELC 2.0 Project across 18 districts   Sincere Gratitude #WE 🙏   *** Website link in the first comment *** Link to online version of the magazine in the second comment #mandarjoshi #angelinvestor #media #interview #pune #indianstartups #angelinvestment #funding #angelinvesting

The cleaning of the Mula Mutha river by thousands of Punekars and youths marked the 5th year of the 'My River My Valentine' initiative. With pollution threatening the city's rivers and environment, Pune residents joined hands on Sunday morning to clean the Mula-Mutha river under the auspices of the 'Worship Earth Foundation' and the Pune Municipal Corporation. Numerous schools, colleges, and social organizations, including the Electoral Literacy Club, NSS, Villoo Poonawalla Foundation, Finolex, Mukul Madhav Foundation, SwayamTej Academy, and Youth4Bharat, actively participated in this river cleanup at the Mula Mutha riverbed near Bhide Bridge. Following the cleanup, students engaged in folk music, street plays, and a march to salute the river Mula-Mutha, delivering awareness messages about the importance of preserving and cleaning our rivers. #myrivermyvalentine #WE #swayamtej #digitaljournalism #mulamutha #rivercleaning #Youth4Bharat #swayamtask #worshipearth

A year and a half ago, #WE and #ME had the opportunity to meet with the #ChiefElectionCommissioner and #ElectionCommission to present our idea for #NewVoterRegistration , #VoterAwareness, Voter Education, and Participation. On behalf of #WE, I presented the concept for #ElectoralLiteracyClub (ELC) 2.0, and they promptly approved the pilot project in Pune. Mr. Shrikant Deshpande, who initiated this meeting, took the lead, and WE hosted a meeting for the pilot project in Pune. The work began, and Mr. Deshpande provided us with the opportunity to prepare all the project documents and present them to all stakeholders. I created all the necessary documents, including SoPs, Internship Offers, MoUs, and related materials. In the first year, WE successfully implemented the ELCs in 40 selected schools and colleges, receiving a tremendous response. This motivated all of us, and thousands of youths participated in the initiative. We seized the opportunity to expand it to all 36 districts, 12 directly and 24 indirectly. In a successful year, WE and the District Election Office in 12 districts signed MoUs with 450 colleges. More than 10,000 volunteers joined the movement, and 217,000 new voters (aged 18-19) were registered by December 2023. The beauty of ELC lies in our provision of internships to 450 students, allowing them to work with the Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra, and the Worship Earth Foundation. As a result of these efforts, ME, along with Worship Earth Foundation, five colleges, six Nodal officers, and five Campus Ambassadors, were honored in Mumbai on the occasion of National Voters Day 2024. #NationalVotersDay #voterregistration #ELC #ElectoralLiteracy #ceomaharashtra #worshipearth #jagmangal #swayamtej
