Shelter, healing and compassionate end of life care.

About us

Welcome Home of Chattanooga is a non profit mission based out of Chattanooga, TN. Our mission creates a community of hope, healing, and compassion for those who are facing a serious illness or death and need safe shelter. We began in 2015 by renting a five bedroom home to serve those who had a terminal illness and nowhere to go for end of life care. In 2020, we purchased five acres with the vision of creating a community of love and care. We now have three homes open on this property and can serve up to 10 individuals at a time. In 2021, we began our Cancer Respite program after recognizing that many were having to go without cancer treatment because they did not have safe shelter and transportation. We have served over 116 wonderful individuals at Welcome Home. We also focus on teaching others about the holy ground of caring for someone at this time in their life We are grateful for our many volunteers who help with companionship, meals, housekeeping and love.
