Weld County's Public Information Office is hiring a Communications Specialist to manage communication projects, oversee the implementation of those projects and analyze the measurable outcomes of said projects. Karla Ford, Weld County Office Manager for the board of commissioners, doesn’t simply schedule meetings and pass paperwork to staff, she also oversees the county’s 20 boards and commissions. She’s proud to help facilitate volunteer opportunities for residents to give input and learn more about county services. It’s something she’s done for the past 10 years, and it’s garnered 212 volunteers.
