Earlier this week, Elizabeth Rochaine, COO, and Pam Rada, Director of Marketing, joined Coral Shores Behavioral Health at the Martin Youth LEADERship Career Fair to share information about the Alan B. Miller Medical Center. Along with highlighting the new facility, our dynamic duo spoke to students about the wide array of jobs that are available in the healthcare industry.

We'd like to thank Dr. John Hinson and Dr. Shaw for hosting an educational panel focused on orthopedic health and aging. Dr. Hinson spotlighted rotator cuff injuries, shoulder health and injury prevention, while Dr. Shaw focused on hips and knees, arthritis and strategies for staying active as we age. We'd like to thank both physicians for sharing their expertise with the local community.

We'd like to thank our friends from Boy Scout Troop #208 for the incredibly thoughtful donation of blankets and scent clothes for our youngest patients in the NICU. Scent cloths are small pieces of fabric, often worn by a parent, that absorb their scent and are then placed near a baby to help soothe and promote bonding through familiar smells. We're so grateful for this very kind gesture!

Our team is decked out in blue as we continue our efforts to raise awareness for the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. We also hosted informational tables to help educate staff on individuals at risk, the benefits of screenings and treatment options.

We're proud to share that the Advanced Breast Center at Wellington Regional Medical Center has been recently recognized as a Certified Participant in the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program™. This distinguished honor represents a commitment to providing the highest level of quality breast health care to our patients. Congratulations to our team members on this incredible milestone and thank you for your dedication to providing exceptional and compassionate care.
