Updates

  • On this #FeelGoodFriday, we're proud to spotlight Wilsond Eliantus, Clinical Systems Analyst, as our most recent Employee of the Month. Below are a few sentiments that were shared by his colleagues: "Wilsond consistently goes above and beyond in his role, providing exceptional support to our physicians and staff, both within the hospital and in the wider community. His dedication to his work is truly commendable. He possesses a rare combination of technical expertise and genuine compassion. He is incredibly patient, always giving his undivided attention to anyone he is assisting, ensuring they fully understand the solutions he provides. This level of personalized support is invaluable, especially when dealing with complex IT issues. What truly sets Wilsond apart is his willingness to go the extra mile. He has frequently helped after-hours, often in critical situations, without a single complaint. He understands the importance of our systems and the impact they have on patient care, and he is always ready to step in and ensure everything runs smoothly. He is, without a doubt, a "go-to" person for any Cerner application-related issue. Congratulations Wilsond, and job well done! We're thrilled you're a part of the Wellington family!

  • We'd like to thank Dr. John Hinson and Dr. Shaw for hosting an educational panel focused on orthopedic health and aging. Dr. Hinson spotlighted rotator cuff injuries, shoulder health and injury prevention, while Dr. Shaw focused on hips and knees, arthritis and strategies for staying active as we age. We'd like to thank both physicians for sharing their expertise with the local community.

  • We'd like to thank our friends from Boy Scout Troop #208 for the incredibly thoughtful donation of blankets and scent clothes for our youngest patients in the NICU. Scent cloths are small pieces of fabric, often worn by a parent, that absorb their scent and are then placed near a baby to help soothe and promote bonding through familiar smells. We're so grateful for this very kind gesture!

  • Our team is decked out in blue as we continue our efforts to raise awareness for the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. We also hosted informational tables to help educate staff on individuals at risk, the benefits of screenings and treatment options.
